The Mezquita in Cordoba is a cathedral. However, before the Christian re-conquest of Spain it used to be a mosque, and it still has a muslim prayer niche. It was originally built in the moorish style and then redecorated again and again over the centuries so that today it is a complete mish mash of styles, but somehow it all comes together. We spent ages walking around in it taking photos.
