The second night we stayed at a backpackers in a very small but famous village called Doolin. The place consists of about five pubs and several B&B's and hostels and was teeming with American tourists when we were there (they have a lot of Irish roots I guess). As it turned out we could only get a table at the most touristy of the pubs, Gus O'Connors, but this was no matter - the Guiness and Irish stew were superb and it was cosy and warm.
