EGYPT - White Desert Camp

The chicken with the giant mushroom, one of the surreal rock creations Mohammed showed us.

Our camping spot amongst the rock formations. We slept outside under the stars. It was pretty cold but everyone was well prepared with lots of layers, sleeping bags and blankets, not to mention barbecued bananas, chocolate and dates in our tummys. The stars were awesome! Lots of shooting ones too...

12pm

Graham gets a call confirming that his visa application has passed!!!!

This may not seem such a monumental event but......it is actually, especially considering that it took almost three months, a refusal , then an appeal and another six weeks to get an anwser.

So we're really really really really chuffed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
